Terms and Conditions of Entry for All States
Trolley Tracker Promotion

Method of Entry

To enter people must report a lost shopping trolley belonging to:

  • In New South Wales and the ACT – Woolworths, Big W, Coles, Franklins, Kmart or Target
  • In Queensland – Woolworths, Big W or Target
  • In South Australia – Woolworths or Big W
  • In the Northern Territory – Woolworths, Big W or Coles
  • In Victoria – Woolworths, Safeway or Big W
  • In Tasmania – Woolworths or Big W
  • In Western Australia – Woolworths or Big W

People are able to report lost shopping trolleys via Trolley Tracker’s free-call 1800 number
(1800 641 497) or website (www.trolleytracker.com.au), both of which are advertised on posters in supermarkets and on distributable leaflets. The caller enters the competition by leaving their name and telephone number or email address.

The following people are NOT eligible to enter the draw for the prize:

  • Staff and family of staff of the participating retailers in each state
  • Staff and family of staff of the answering service – Line 1
  • Staff and family of staff of Trolley Services Australia

Method of Determining Winner for NSW, ACT, QLD (Target entries only) and NT (Coles entries only)

The winner is decided by entering every unique call number from the first day of the previous month to the last. The Random Number Generator selects one winning number and the name belonging to that call number is found by looking at a computer printout of all calls.

Method of Determining Winner for all other states

The winner is decided by entering every unique call number from the fifteenth day of the previous month to the fourteenth day of the current month. The Random Number Generator selects one winning number and the name belonging to that call number is found by looking at a computer printout of all calls.

Nature and Value of Prizes
The monthly winner receives a $1000 open order from the retailer whose trolley they reported.

Unclaimed Prize

If a prize remains unclaimed, despite our best efforts to contact the winner, any unclaimed prize will be the subject of a re-draw. Every caller who reported a trolley during the month for which a prize remains unclaimed will have their name re-entered into the random number generator and a new winner will be chosen. This re-draw for unclaimed prizes, if necessary, will take place at Suite 1D Level 1 45 Hunter St Newcastle at 10.00am on:

  • For NSW – 2 June 2009
  • For ACT – 3 March 2009
  • For QLD – 2 April 2009
  • For SA - 2 April 2009
  • For NT – 2 April 2009
  • For VIC – 2 April 2009

Method of Advising Results of the Draw

The winner is notified by telephone as soon as is practical after the draw. Posters are displayed in all participating stores naming the winner for the previous month.

Provision for a Licence Number

There is provision for the advertising of the Trolley Tracker promotion to include the trade promotion lottery licence number when issued (e.g. T07/xxx).
